Data Not Collected
Summary
Aligned is built so that your journal never leaves your device. We collect no personal data at all — there is nothing to leak.
What stays on your device
- Your entries, mood ratings and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's local database.
- There is no iCloud sync, no cloud backup and no server. The developer has no access to your data.
What we never do
- No account, no sign-up, no collection of your name or email address
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs
- No location, contacts, photos or health data
- No sharing of user content, and no external links besides this page
Purchases
The one-time Aligned Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase records are held by Apple under your Apple ID.
Notifications
If you enable the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device. Its content and your reminder settings never leave your device.
Your data, your control
- Export a JSON backup of all your entries at any time: Settings → Export JSON backup.
- Deleting the app removes all of its data permanently.
Children
Aligned is rated 4+. It has no user-generated content sharing and no external links beyond this policy.
